PADUCAH — Your pup probably won’t want to leave the bed today, though we can’t blame them. Our winter storm is on its way out, but it has left slick conditions in its wake — the dog may not like booties and doggie coats, but today’s the day for them.

Yesterday’s ice storm warning has become a winter weather advisory as of this morning, as the accumulating ice has come to an end. There may be some lingering snowfall, as well as gusty winds and potential power outages.

There is also a risk of black ice — after your walk, drive slowly and stay safe.
