Former Kaizer Chiefs star Keagan Dolly has joined TS Galaxy after months of searching for a club.
The 31-year-old winger trained with SuperSport; however, the Tshwane giants did not sign him. He left Amakhosi at the end of June after his contract expired but struggled to find a new team. This week, it was announced that the ex-Kaizer Chiefs star has signed a deal with Galaxy.
“Obviously, very exciting, excited to join this family,” Dolly told the club’s media.
“It’s been a couple of months. Everyone knows that I’ve been away from football and not having a team, but I’ve always said we’re looking for the best project that will suit me and suit my family.
“And, we’ve found a family in TS Galaxy. We couldn’t be happier to be a part of this and we’re just looking forward to enjoying myself again.
“Work hard, contribute to the team on and off the field because I feel there’s a lot of youngsters here at the club who are very exciting and I’m just going to try my best to help them. Contribute and score a few more goals and just enjoy football.
TS Galaxy give ex-Kaizer Chiefs star a chance
“I feel like I owe it to myself, I owe it to the people around me and I owe it to the club, its supporters – the chairman for giving me the opportunity to come here and just play football and help where I can.”
