Nigerian afrobeats singer, Burna Boy, has gone into a fierce war of words with fans of his fellow Nigerian musician, Wizkid.
Trading words with Wizkid’s fans on social media, Burna Boy says “Nigeria really doesn’t know me.”
In since deleted posts, www.africanentertainment.com can reliably confirm that Burna Boy told Wizkid’s fans that “I don’t care to be the biggest Nigerian artist. I’m just happy I can do what I love and take care of my people from it. So when people talk about me now, it’s all just funny”.
He went on to speak about when he entered the Nigerian music industry.
Burna Boy says he came into the music industry in Nigeria after being freed from a United Kingdom prison.
According to him, “I came into the music industry straight from UK Prison (Chelmsford HMP). I had no idea I would even live this long. If you knew just half of the sh*t I used to do for money, risking my freedom daily, you would be way happier for me.”
