‘I sobbed for hours’: Jessie J’s huge health update after breast cancer battle, announces she’s cancer free | new video

Jessie J has shared a health update with fans, revealing she’s now cancer-free.

The Price Tag singer, 38, shared a post revealing the positive update on Instagram, admitting she “sobbed for hours” after hearing the news.

The hitmaker revealed in June last year that she was diagnosed with “early breast cancer”.

Jessie J shared a video with fans this week from getting an MRI and a “yearly checkup”.

“I’m actually sh–ting myself, I’m not gonna lie,” she says in the clip.

She captioned her post, which got almost 50,000 likes: “‼️RESULTS ARE IN AND I AM CANCER FREE‼️”

“😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭I sobbed for hours and then exhaled for the first time in a year 🌱🔋.”

Underneath the post, fans commented how it was the best news and shared their wellwishes for the star.

The singer had a mastectomy after her shock diagnosis.

When she first told fans about her breast cancer diagnosis last year, she told them in a video: “I was diagnosed with early breast cancer.”

Keeping positive, she added: “Cancer sucks in any form, but I’m holding on to the word ‘early.'”

“It’s a very dramatic way to get a boob job,” she joked.

“I am going to disappear for a bit after Summertime Ball to have my surgery, and I will come back with massive t-ts and more music,” she added.

Just two months ago, the singer made headlines when she revealed she was rushed to hospital after slamming her head on the roof of her car, believing she had broken her neck while on tour in China.

“I thought I broke my neck, but I haven’t. But I have really hurt my neck and my back,” she said at the time.
