Arokodare Vows to Fire Nigeria Toward 2027 AFCON Qualification
Speaking in an interview with Voetbalprimeur, the forward made clear his ambitions on the international stage.
“I hope I can help my country,” Arokodare stated.
The Nigerian international has been in scintillating goalscoring form in the Dutch Eredivisie with Ajax. His towering physical presence and clinical finishing have caused headaches for defenders across the league, prompting high praise from opposing managers. Following their weekend clash, Excelsior head coach Ruben den Uil candidly described the striker as an almost unfair advantage for the Amsterdam giants.

“When you see this Ajax… Tolu, that’s almost fraud for the competition. He is so strong and so long… a cheat code,” Den Uil remarked. “That is not normal. Even if you get a ten in the deck for the goal, then this man will still come above you.”
With his scoring boots firmly laced and confidence soaring, Arokodare will look to carry his lethal club form directly into the national team camp as Nigeria kicks off its journey toward the 2027 AFCON finals.
