Japan’s Sojitz to buy Australian infrastructure developer for $300m

TOKYO — Japanese trading house Sojitz will acquire Australian infrastructure developer Capella Capital Partnership in a deal worth 470 million Australian dollars ($293 million), Nikkei has learned.

This will be the largest single acquisition ever made by Sojitz. The company is looking to tap demand for infrastructure in Australia as its economy grows.
