US folk singer Jewel’s tour bus caught fire a few days ago, but fortunately no one was hurt.
The ‘Who Will Save Your Soul’ singer told her TikTok followers about the incident in a short, sharp video.
“We had a full bus fire. Nobody was hurt. It happened on an off-day in the parking lot of a hotel. The fire department came. Everybody is safe,” she said. “We saved the vintage guitar and the guitar amp.”

As she spoke, Jewel showed photos of the damage done to the bus. Ash littered all surfaces of the bus, the firefighters justifiably broke two windows, and the engine cover was completely warped.
At the end of the video, Jewel sounded exasperated.
“All’s well that ends well, but how about this bulls—?!”
According to Jewel, the front desk attendants who worked at the hotel the bus was parked spotted the fire and immediately called emergency services and the bus driver.

While the firefighters put out the flames, the bus driver had a chance to save the vintage music gear.
Jewel thanked everyone involved for their work and keeping everyone safe.
After she uploaded the video, the Grammy-nominated artist received a wave of support.
“So glad y’all weren’t in it!!,” said one commenter.
Another mentioned the bus driver was her dad and Jewel replied, “He’s such a great guy!!!! The band loves him!”

The bus had trouble earlier in their tour when it broke down in the middle of the night after a show in Albuquerque. As a result, Jewel graciously welcomed her band onto her own bus.
“So happy to have the band all on the bus,” she wrote in the caption of her TikTok.
Jewel recently won the sixth season of The Masked Singer at the end of 2021, and in April of this year, she released her thirteenth studio album Freewheelin’ Woman.
