The cast of Kath & Kim has reportedly been spotted filming again in Melbourne.
The sighting followed months of rumours the Australian comedy is set for a reunion to mark the show’s 20th anniversary.
Stars of the Logie Award-winning show, including Gina Riley, Jane Turner, Magda Szubanski, Glenn Robbins and Peter Rowsthorn are all set to take part, according to The Age.

The publication (which is a part of Nine Entertainment) reports the cast will be filming in the NEP studio complex in South Melbourne for the week.
The productions is believe to be similar to a Friends-style reunion special with some new sketches and scenes to sit alongside some of the best bits from across the show’s four-season on-air run.

The special is set to air later in the year but there are no details on dates or the channel (or streaming service) it will air on as yet.
The series made its debut in May 2002 on the ABC before moving to Seven in 2007. The full series and its two subsequent movies, are now available on streaming service Netflix.
Unfortunately, there will be one element of the original show missing. The foxy ladies of Fountain Lakes won’t be able to film in their home as the Patterson Lakes property used in the TV series was recently demolished.
During a radio interview on the Kyle & Jackie O show in 2021, Szubanski shot down rumours of a reunion series, saying at the time: “I think it should be off the table… It holds such a special place in people’s memories.”
But the comedian didn’t completely rule out some kind of special.
“If we did a live show, which was a ‘best of’ or something like that, that’s different,” she said.
“But to actually try and do a whole new series, I think you can never capture that magic again.”
The show was thrust back into the spotlight earlier this year when Australian cricketer Shane Warne’s cameo on the series resurfaced in the aftermath of his death.
While the original cast is returning, it’s not known if Kylie Minogue — who made a guest appearance as Kim’s grown-up daughter Epponnee-Rae — will feature in the special.
The singer was recently back in Melbourne to film the last episode of soap Neighbours.
