Melbourne could expand smoke-free zones under new proposal

Smoking and vaping could soon be banned outside landmarks and civic spaces in Melbourne’s CBD under a new proposal by the local council.

The City of Melbourne is considering expanding current smoke-free zones to include transport and sporting hubs, as well as council-owned property including Town Hall.
