One person dies, one in critical condition after bus stop crash

A person has been killed after a car crashed into a bus stop in Auckland early this morning.

Emergency services were called to the crash on Massey Road in Māngere just before 3am.

Police said one person died at the scene, and another person was taken to hospital in a critical condition.

The road was closed after the crash, but had since reopened.
