Out of Home company oOh!media is set to be even more unmissable with the launch of New Zealand’s largest Video Out of Home screen (VOOH) in Sylvia Park in Auckland.
‘The Sylvia’ is the first 3D-creative capable screen addition to oOh!’s Retail Large Format portfolio, providing clients the opportunity to present advertising in a completely new and unique format. The Sylvia utilises the latest screen technology available and is designed to be seen and take Out of Home advertising to the next level in a purely pedestrian environment. The oOh! team is currently testing 3D anamorphic creative with the aim to launch this month.
Rick Goodwin, Product Innovation & Solutions Director at oOh!media New Zealand, says ‘The Sylvia’ will not only offer clients a new opportunity to be seen like never before, but also provides shoppers a great viewing experience.
“According to a recent study on Neuro Impact, mode of transport stands out as the most significant influencer on engagement and attention levels when it comes to Out of Home advertising. ‘The Sylvia’, situated within a completely pedestrianised setting, allows for more extended exposure as well as the opportunity to harness the power of video creative and dynamic 3D motion.”
“We have already started to feel the high demand for this innovative screen with One NZ, Flight Centre, Kiwibank, Keri and Lion confirmed as launch partners. It will be an exciting time to see what our clients can produce creatively to bring this screen to life in the lead up to the Christmas period,” he adds.
Sharmian White, Head of Activate Leasing at Kiwi Property, says the team is thrilled to see this screen be the first of its kind to land in New Zealand and even more exciting that it will be homed in Sylvia Park. “With such high foot traffic in our centre, it is great to have a screen that will be seen and appreciated by so many people. We are looking forward to seeing the calibre of work that will be showcased.”
The launch of ‘The Sylvia’ extends oOh!media’s Retail Large Format network to 36 screens throughout 16 Retail Centres nationwide, reaching 1M+ unique Kiwis each month.
