Smoking ban and injection room ‘double standards’: Paul Murray

Sky New host Paul Murray says there is a “double standard” of the Victorian Government funding safe injecting rooms for “illegal drugs” while Melbourne City Council is “mulling” places to consume tobacco.

“You’re talking about a second injecting room in Melbourne where you can consume illegal drugs,” Mr Murray said.

“It is the legal product that is shunned upon, the illegal one they’ll tax pay a funded joint for you to do it.”
