In the days leading to National Single Parent Day on March 21, ASPSF is releasing new videos of our recipients! Below, Lindsey Michelle shares how much it means to have people like you believe in her dreams.
“My name is Lindsey Michelle, and I just wanted to say thank you so much for supporting single parents like me.
The Arkansas Single Parents Scholarship Foundation is helping me so much with earning an associate’s degree in business, which I plan to follow up with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. I hope one day to have a career helping people get off drugs and get the help that they need.
Because of the Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Foundation, I’ve been able to focus on schoolwork more without the stress — the financial stress — and burden of being able to provide for my children.
I’ve also taken a financial literacy workshop through the Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Foundation, which has taught me so much that I wish I would have known sooner.
I just want to say thank you for believing in me. My children and I are so grateful.”
