Author Douglas Murray says he doesn’t believe outgoing UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson “for a moment” after he hinted he may return.
“I think Boris Johnson will probably be looking to make some money outside of politics, not being able to make money whilst being prime minister has been one of his gripes,” Mr Murray told Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan.
“I think he’ll try to sign book deals, get columns back, give highly paid speeches and that’ll be that.
“I’m not quite sure how many people will want to hear from him after this, by the way … my feeling with Boris Johnson in general is that the laughter has died.”
