There’s an intriguing detail in the fine print of a recent South Australian election poll that signals a shift in the way Australians interact with One Nation.
By now, we know that One Nation is capable of some pretty impressive poll numbers, hitting the low- to mid-20s both nationally and in South Australia, even able to knock the Coalition down from the No. 2 spot behind Labor. A poll published on Tuesday by research firm Fox & Hedgehog had the incumbent state Labor party at 38%, One Nation at 21% and the Liberals at 18% (unlike some other states, the Nationals are not a force to be reckoned with in South Australia).
