10 times Kelly Ripa looked unbelievable in a bikini

Kelly showcased her athletic figure in 2020 in a black one-piece swimsuit as she turned her back to the camera to look at her husband, who was dressed in black swim shorts and a black shirt. “Threw backside and had a cheeky new year,” she wrote in the caption.

Kelly and Mark’s daughter, Lola Consuelos, proved her talent with the camera when snapping a photo of her mother relaxing on the beach. In the photo, Kelly wore a white bikini with a sheer cover-up and readied herself for their day out.

“Under the sun with #papa (Not pictured),” she captioned the photo. The supermom previously shared with Women’s Health that motherhood motivated her to get into shape so she could keep up with her three children.

“It would have never occurred to me to exercise before I had kids. Ever. Now, I find that I need it to clear my head,” Kelly explained. “I need strength and stamina because raising kids is the toughest job there is. And it’s the most rewarding – but it’s exhausting, and it’s hard work. My childless self would have died laughing seeing me in a gym.”

Kelly and Mark proved they only had eyes for each other in a cheeky snap taken in 2021 that saw him staring in fascination at her figure as she leaned over and smiled at the camera. “When the end is in sight…,” she quipped in the Instagram caption.

Mark snapped a candid picture of his stunning wife in 2018 that saw her standing in crystal clear waters during their tropical getaway. Kelly looked incredible in a brown patterned bikini and a wide-brim hat, with her svelte figure on display. “Sultry Sundays with the sexy one are my fave…” he captioned the photo.

Mark’s simple snap strangely brought on a sea of backlash from social media users who declared Kelly too old to appear in bikini photos. “It was bizarre,” Mark said on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. “It’s like, what else are you supposed to wear at the beach?” 

“I don’t know what I’m supposed to wear to the beach,” Kelly added. “I mean, I don’t really know. I wasn’t in synagogue. I was at the beach. I mean, if you come up with an option, let me know.”

Mark and Kelly first met during a screen test for All My Children in 1995, and their budding love was captured in a press photo by the beach. While Mark was pictured shirtless and carrying Kelly in his arms, the actress was clad in a printed blue bikini and a hot pink linen skirt, with a besotted smile on her face.

Kelly shared a sweet family photo on Instagram in 2022, with her husband, three kids and in-laws all enjoying a beach day together. “#tbt 2008. A Consuelos family reminder to watch Generation Gap tonight…Bikinis optional. We’ve been bridging the gap for years!,” she wrote in the caption.

In the snap, the mother of three stood in the surf while dressed in a bright orange bikini top and matching bottoms, holding on tightly to her youngest son, Joaquin. 

Always being there for her family is important to Kelly. Working in the mornings allowed her to be there for her kids in the afternoons when they were younger and to still slot in a workout each day. “I work out every day. It’s part of my life,” she told Good Housekeeping. “That’s one of the benefits of having kids in school full-time. I’m usually done with work around 11 a.m, so I have time before I pick the kids up from school.”

Kelly took another chance to showcase her abs in a picture posted to social media that saw her and Mark walking along the beach together, him shirtless and her in a blue bikini top and a flowing blue skirt with a bright yellow pattern.

“We’ve left over a million sandy footprints on various beaches over the past 23 years. We did the math. Well @instasuelos did the math. I don’t do math,” she quipped in the caption.

In June 2024, Kelly posted an Instagram photo wearing a black and white floral bandeau swimsuit, resting her arm on a shirtless Mark in front of an infinity pool, captioned: “Greetings from Captains Underpants. (One last swim).” 

While Kelly often flaunts her figure online, she has previously spoken about her fitness motivation: “There are a lot of people that don’t have to work out, and I am so happy for them, but I have to work out for my body type,” she told People. “It’s part of my routine. It’s part of my ritual. It doesn’t just make me look better, but it makes me emotionally feel better.”

Mark shared a beachy photo of Kelly in May 2019 to celebrate their impressive 23rd wedding anniversary. In the shot, she paired a white triangle bikini top with sunglasses and a striped beach cover-up for a chic look.
