2006 was a crucial year in the Egyptian film industry, playing a pivotal role when it came to laying the foundation for the movies that followed. Not only that, but it also had a crucial role in shaping our identity and taste for those cozy aesthetics we’re still emotionally attached to until today. Whether they were lighthearted comedies, emotional dramas, or action-packed thrillers, 2006 was jam-packed with many great movies that still stick with us after all these years.
