Hot Spot doesn’t show a mark from the Josh Hazlewood delivery, but Rod Tucker’s decision is overturned on the basis that Snicko reveals a minor murmur.
Adding to the confusion, Tucker puts his finger up, corrects himself and signals not out.
The Australians and Tucker are baffled that Snicko showed a mark despite Hot Spot indicating nothing, but Holder was quick and confident in his appeal.
“What’s going on?” Ian Smith said on the Fox Cricket coverage as Tucker got in a muddle.
“It’s not out. OK, let’s get that right. There’s a little bit of confusion there.
“Jason Holder, to be fair, reviewed very quickly, and when batsmen do that they tend to know that they’ve made contact.
“Interesting, very interesting.”
