Tarryn Kenya Anthony, born April 30, 1987 in Daytona Beach, Florida peacefully transitioned on December 6, 2022 at her home in Columbia, South Carolina. Tarryn also known as “T1”, “TA”, or “Squeekie” attended Mainland High school and graduated in June 2005. Tarryn was very active and did not leave high school without leaving an everlasting impression as she was crowned Miss Mainland of 2004-2005.
Known for her humoristic, energetic and creative personality, Tarryn also lived for fashion and fedoras. She had a true passion for cleaning and organizing which motivated her to birth her own business, Squeekie Klean Cleaning Service.
Tarryn leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Valenthia Van Meter and father, Nathaniel “Todd” Anthony. Sisters, Vatoria, Miya, and Dymond. Brothers, Nathaniel, Nathan, and Kevian. Aunts, Jasmine (Fred) and Ursulyne. Uncles, Derrick, Chris, Danny, and Melvin. Great Grandmother, Rebecca Lee. Tarryn is preceded by her grandparents, Lula Van Meter (Godfrey) and Jestene (Nathanial) Anthony. A host of cousin’s, nieces, and devoted friends.
The Family will receive friends for visitation, 5pm until 7pm Friday December 16, 2022 at the Herbert Thompson Chapel. Memorial Services, 11am December 17, 2022 at Hope Fellowship Church. Arrangements entrusted to Herbert Thompson Funeral Home, Inc.
