One of the Good Morning America news anchors at the centre of affair rumours has filed for divorce from his wife of 12 years.
TJ Holmes reportedly filed divorce documents with the New York County Supreme Court on Wednesday, December 28, seeking to end his marriage to Marilee Fiebig.
Holmes’ divorce from the accomplished immigration lawyer will be his second – he was first married to CNN personality Amy Ferson until their divorce in 2007.

The move comes after Holmes’ alleged affair with his co-host Amy Robach hit headlines.
The rumoured affair was exposed by photos showing the pair engaging in PDA during a handful of outings in November 2022.
Following this, Robach deleted her Instagram account and Holmes clamped down on communication, refusing to speak on the claims.
Following the release of the images, the pair continued to appear alongside each other on television.

However, they have since been taken off the air and were reportedly spotted getting cosy as recently as Monday, December 26.
“I want to say that while that relationship is not a violation of company policy, I have really taken the last few days to think about and work through what I think is best for the ABC News organisation,” Kim Godwin, president of the ABC reportedly said in a call referring to the decision to take the duo off air, per TMZ.
Since the alleged affair became public knowledge, super sleuths have dug through both Robach and Holmes’ social media in search of clues and telltale signs.

One telling post was Holmes’ anniversary dedication to his wife,
“Ten years ago, Marilee Fiebig married me. And despite my best efforts, she remained married to me the past 10 years,” T.J. wrote in a now-viral post.
“I gave her plenty of reasons, excuses, and opportunities to walk her fine ass out the [door].”
Internet sleuths suggest this once innocuous post is now completely different in light of Holmes’ affair.
