A magnitude 5.2 earthquake hit Chile’s Tarapaca Region on
Wednesday, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC)
said, Trend
reports citing TASS.
According to the EMSC, the epicenter was located at a depth of
125 kilometers some 159 kilometers southeast of the city of Arica
with a population of around 185,000.
No casualties or damages were reported.
