Police have arrested three teenagers and a man after an investigation into aggravated robberies in Hamilton.
The Armed Offenders Squad and police searched houses in Rukuhia on Sunday and arrested four people, Detective Senior Sergeant Scott Neilson said.
The youngest was 13 years old, while the others were two teenagers, 17, and a man, 29.
The three teenagers are due to appear in the Hamilton Youth Court on Monday, on several charges, including aggravated robbery.
The 29-year-old faces charges of theft, unlawfully using a motor vehicle and driving while disqualified.
He will appear in the Hamilton District Court on Monday, 9 January.
Neilson said the alleged aggravated robberies span several months.
In October, police said they had charged 347 young people in Auckland and Waikato for crimes linked to ramraids and smash and grabs since May, as the laser focus from politicians and media continued.
