Roundup of all the action across Third Round of 2022-23 FA Cup, which saw plenty of cupsets.

With Premier League and Championship clubs now having entered the fray, this round marked the serious business point of the competition as teams battled their way into the Fourth Round.

Non League’s Boreham Wood, Chesterfield and Wrexham meanwhile all hoped to cause cupsets alongside various EFL clubs.

Now, here is a roundup of every tie across the Third Round beginning with ties which pitted Premier League clubs against EFL opposition.

Josh Windass’ brace saw League One’s Sheffield Wednesday extended their unbeaten run in all competitions to 18 matches with a shock 2-1 home win over Newcastle, who netted a consolatory goal through Bruno Guimaraes.

Goals from Marvin Ekpiteta, Ian Poveda, CJ Hamilton and Jerry Yates saw Blackpool stun Premier League strugglers, Nottingham Forest in a 4-1 home victory at Bloomfield Road.

Braces from Manuel Benson and Anass Zaroury saw Championship leaders, Burnley beat Bournemouth 4-2 in a dramatic six-goal thriller at the Vitality Stadium.
