TOKYO — Sony will make all its products and services more user-friendly for people with disabilities and the elderly, as product development begins to target the one billion people worldwide who have some form of disability.
The Sony Group affiliate will make “inclusive design” an in-house rule by March. The process invites people with disabilities and the elderly to participate in the product planning and development stages, with their input incorporated into final production.
