Every team in the NBA is in its own situation. Some are more enviable than others.
Of course, everyone would like to be contending. Everyone can’t be. With that said, having an exciting young core is an enviable situation as well.
On the other hand, some teams are in a slightly more complicated position. They’re not contending or rebuilding. Some would suggest that being in the middle is the worst place to be in the NBA.
