Tanking has a way of wearing on an NBA fanbase. How could it not? Watching your team lose for years on end is exhausting.
When you know they’re trying to lose, it doesn’t necessarily ease the pain. All you can ask yourself is “when will this thing end”?
Oklahoma City Thunder fans know this pain too well. The Thunder have been opting to lose for a handful of seasons. Surely, it’s grating on diehard supporters of the team.
With that said, the light at the end of the tunnel is beginning to become visible.
The Thunder have made real progress this year. Next year, they might be ready to make a playoff run.
Could they trade Luguentz Dort for more draft capital anyway?
