The best creamy homemade berry icecream, where you can regulate the sweetness and your preferred flavor. All you need is a bit of patience and readily available cheap ingredients and I bet, you wont stop eating this!

Guys, it gets better! This homemade ice-cream is eggless and you do not need an ice-cream machine to make this. The flavor is also very customizable to fit your preference. One of my favorite dessert flavor combos has always been lemon and raspberry and it worked perfectly here!
I chose to use fresh raspberries because I love the fresh burst of juicy-ness, but you can definitely substitute this with frozen berries of berry jam.
You can choose to freeze this in a shallow pan or pour the mixture into popsicle molds or mini cups and turn them into popsicles.
How to make easy homemade Icecream.
Custard Homemade Raspberry Icecream
Creamy no-ice-cream maker homemade Icecream
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons Flavored Custard Powder Available in most well stocked supermarkets
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 cup Icing Sugar
- 1 cup Heavy cream or whiping cream Chilled
- 1 tablespoon Vanilla Essence
- 1/2 cup Fresh raspberries or jam
- 1 teaspoon Lemon Rind
Instructions

In a small bowl, add 3 tablespoons of milk and 2 tablespoons of custard powder. I ussed vanilla custard powder.

Stir and ensure no lumps are left.

Add the rest of the milk and 1/2 cup of icing sugar into a deep sauce pan or sufuria nad place over medium heat.

Allow the milk to simmer and stir to dissolve the sugar.

Once the milk begins to dimmer, add the milk and custard powder mixture.

Begin to stir and turn the heat to low. Keeo stirring gradually to prevent sticking until it thickens up completely.

The mixture should be thick and glossy and easily coberes the back of a spoon.

Cover with cling film annd allow it to cool completely. If you leave it uncovered, a crust will form. Do not skip the covering part.

Add the heavy cream and 1/2 cup of icing sugar into a cold bowl. Using a mixer or whisk, begin to beat the cream until it thickens up and doubles in size.

Add in the cool custard cream and vanilla essence and continue to beat the icecream until you get soft peaks.

Add in the crushed berries or berry jam and lemon rind and fold it into the icecream.

Transfer into a shallow dish and freeze overnight until set

Serve and garnish with fresh berries and some lemon rind.
