A police spokesperson said the officers were carrying out a search warrant and the operation was pre-planned, but there were no further details available at this stage.

An armed officer appears to be attempting to communicate with someone inside the property.
Four police officers armed with rifles are standing outside a property on Oriental Parade across from Freyberg Pool and appeared to be attempting to communicate with someone inside the property.
An onlooker said three people had been removed from the property including a woman and a child.
Police have traffic management measures in place on Oriental Parade with police vehicle blocking one lane and traffic being waved through.
