Orlando Pirates academy graduate Thabiso Monyane looks set to remain at the club beyond the current season.
The full-back’s current contract is set to come to an end in June, however reports suggest the club are preparing an extension offer for him!

Monyane, 22-years-old, has made 17 appearances for Jose Riveiro’s side so far this season.
He was promoted to the first team in 2019 and in total, Monyane has 45 appearances for the Buccaneers.

Orlando Pirates loanee scores AGAIN!
“He is an Orlando Pirates development player. He knows the culture very well and he understands the system better.” a source told SoccerLaduma.
“Monyane is still young but he has shown that he has a bright future. That’s why the team wants to keep him for another four years until 2027.
“Its not a done deal yet but it is almost 90% done. They are still talking but as I have said, I don’t see any problem as he is an Orlando Pirates player from the development and is still young.
“He is only 22 years old and has a great future ahead of him. As soon as everything is completed I will tell you as well.”

Matrose set for another loan away from Bucs
In other news, Orlando Pirates are reportedly keen on sending exciting 20-year-old winger Azola Matrose out on loan again.
The winger is currently out on loan at Chippa United. He has featured for the Chilli Boys on 16 occasions this season, scoring twice.

According to the latest reports, Matrose is set for another loan spell away from Orlando Pirates next season.
Insiders claim the Buccaneers are searching for a potential new club, however if they don’t find one, Matrose is likely to return to Chippa United on loan next season!

“As far as the team wanting him to go on another loan is as good as done.” a source told SoccerLaduma.
“They want him to gain the necessary experience so that when he comes back he can fit into the team and play.
“Pirates know he is a good player but they just want him to gain more experience.
“Chippa wants to keep him beyond June this year but it will depend if there are no other teams interested in him.
“And also look at the conditions of the other teams as well as Chippa, then (Orlando Pirates) will decide where he can go on loan for next season.”
