Every year, we await our favorite stars on screen during the Ramadan season. But some of them skip seasons for multiple reasons, and that’s okay. And while we spend the season without seeing them in productions, we await their comeback eagerly. This season has witnessed many comebacks that range from a year-break to more. So, here are 4 comebacks in Ramadan this year!
Donia Samir Ghanem – Gat Saleema:
Donia has been MIA from the Ramadan season since 2019. But keep in mind that before that, Donia was crushing it almost every year. And this Ramadan, she made a comeback with a light combination of drama, comedy, fantasy, and romance with ‘Gat Saleema’. People are tuning in to form an opinion of the series, but to say the least, it’s enjoyable.
Ghada Abdel Razek – Telt El Talata:
Remember the good old days back in 2012 and 2013 when we were obsessed with ‘Ma3 Sabk El Esrar’ and ‘Hekayet Hayah’? Well, this year, it seems like Ghada has decided to follow the same path in ‘Telt El Talata’. The first few episodes had a fast pace and confused people on how to judge it, but the whole twins-twist and the plot are what’s keeping the audience on the edge of their seats.
Ahmed Eid – 3omla Nadra:
For years, Ahmed Eid has fallen into the comedy category. He’s been viewed as a very good comedian for a while now, but this year, he changed the narrative. Ahmed Eid starred this Ramadan in ‘3omla Nadra’ and amazed everyone with his portrayal of the complex and evil character that he plays.
Yasmine Abdel Aziz and Ahmed El Awady – Darb Nar:
Yasmine Abdel Aziz was always more of a movie star. But ever since her hit series ‘W Neheb Tany Leh’ in 2020, people considered Yasmine a part of the Ramadan marathon and awaited the following year’s, ‘Eli Malosh Kebeer’, which was a hit too! Yasmine and El Awady didn’t join last year’s season after their massive success from the previous year but didn’t miss out on Ramadan 2023’s marathon!
