oOh!media New Zealand has recently expanded its digital advertising presence at the upgraded Lower Albert Street bus interchange, a bustling transportation hub situated in the heart of Auckland’s CBD.
The Lower Albert Street bus interchange, which services the second busiest bus route in New Zealand, presents a valuable opportunity for oOh!media and its clients to connect with commuters and tourists as they traverse the city.
This strategic location is adjacent to Auckland’s premier shopping precinct, Commercial Bay, and is within walking distance of renowned landmarks such as major retailers, businesses, International Cruise Ship berths, the Auckland Ferry Terminal, Britomart train station, supermarkets, and inner-city residences. As a result, the transport hub generates nearly one million weekly interactions, allowing for extensive exposure and engagement.
The six new digital advertising panels are installed as three double-sided assets, and are set up in a consecutive fashion, enabling advertisers to appear on three panels at once, facing north and south along Lower Albert Street.

As part of its oOh! Community initiative, oOh!media joined forces with Youthline to inaugurate the newly installed screens, using the platforms to promote the current ‘Walk the Talk’ campaign. Running across the Lower Albert Street site throughout the month of May, Youthline’s ‘Walk The Talk’ campaign encourages people to move 31 minutes every day in May; the 31 minutes representing the average time a Youthline counsellor will chat online to a young person in need of support.
