The unsolved killing of a teenager at the Sydney Royal Easter Show this year is being spotlighted by police again.
Uati “Pele” Faletolu was knifed in the chest while on a break from working on one of the rides at the event in April of this year. He was 17 and an expectant father.
Nine seconds of video footage has been released and police want anyone who recognises the people in it to come forward.
“Following further extensive reviews by forensic detectives, it’s believed some of the persons depicted may have had a direct line of sight to the incident and could have vital information for investigators,” NSW Police said in a statement today.
“If you recognise yourself or someone you know, or you have any additional information which could assist strike force investigators, please contact police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
Police will hold a press conference this afternoon.
