Conservatives need to find ‘moderate’ solutions to problems

PM Glynn Institute Principal Policy Advisor Damien Freeman says conservatives need to be prepared to “engage with problems” and find the moderate way of dealing with issues.

“I’ve continuously said that if we’re going to have change, we need to have change in conformity with tradition,” he told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

“If sensible, reasonable people aren’t prepared to put forward proportionate, moderate, reasonable responses to problems, then don’t be surprised if people take the only response on offer – an extreme response.”
