Final arguments are expected to begin tomorrow in the extradition case against Neville van der Westhuizen.
The Durban Regional Court is set to hear final arguments in the extradition inquiry against a 41-year-old South African man accused of murdering two Irish friends in that country in 2014, after which he fled to South Africa.
Neville van der Westhuizen and his lover, Ruth Lawrence, a 42-year-old Irish national, stand accused of the double-murder in Ireland.
The pair allegedly gunned down 32-year-old Eoin O’Connor and 33-year-old Anthony Keegan in a drug-related dispute, and then made their way to South Africa.
