An altercation on a TTC bus in the Annex early on Christmas morning left one person with serious injuries and cops searching for the assailant.

According to Toronto Police, on Dec. 25 at approximately 3:50 a.m., officers responded to a call for an assault in the Brunswick Ave. and Bloor St. W. area.

It is reported that a person was standing inside the bus and got into a verbal altercation with a man.
Cops say the man assaulted the transit rider, who suffered serious injuries.

The assailant was last seen heading north on Brunswick Ave.
Investigators have released images of a suspect hoping the public can help identify him.
The man is described as 6-foot-1, with a medium build and a moustache. He was wearing gray pants, a black hooded sweater, a green jacket and a Toronto Raptors tuque.
