Solarvest Holdings Berhad and Agmo Holdings Berhad have announced a strategic joint venture aimed at transforming Malaysia’s clean energy sector through advanced digital solutions. The partnership was unveiled during the 6th International Sustainable Energy Summit (ISES) 2024, with the Deputy Prime Minister, Haji Fadillah Bin Haji Yusof, in attendance.
This collaboration will see Solarvest Energy Sdn. Bhd. (a subsidiary of Solarvest) and Agmo Capital Sdn. Bhd. (a subsidiary of Agmo) working together to develop digital applications that enhance the efficiency and scalability of clean energy solutions. The initial focus will be on improving Solarvest’s existing offerings, including its Vestech EcoHomes solutions and the Powerbee green Electric Vehicle (EV) charging ecosystem.
Davis Chong Chun Shiong, executive director and group CEO of Solarvest, emphasized that this partnership represents a significant advancement in their mission to innovate within the clean energy sector. “Our collaboration with Agmo marks a significant leap forward in our mission to drive innovation and sustainability in the clean energy sector. The JV was announced at the recently concluded 6th International Sustainable Energy Summit (ISES) 2024, a key event for sustainable energy dialogue and innovation. Organized by the Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA) Malaysia and hosted by the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA), the summit’s theme of “Accelerating Energy Transition Through Innovation” reflected Malaysia’s commitment to leading the ASEAN region in the global energy transition through innovative technologies and approaches.
