Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and several of his predecessors have arrived in Japan, as growing unrest continues ahead of former prime minister Shinzo Abe’s funeral.
Criticism has come about over Mr Abe’s alleged links to the Unification Church, and the $18 million cost for the state funeral.
The Japanese government expects 4,300 people to attend the funeral in Tokyo.
