Bafana Bafana fans were left angry after coach Hugo Broos selected Siyanda Xulu in his starting 11 against Nigeria in the semi-final of the African Cup of Nations(Afcon).
The 34-year-old defender started Bafana’s opening game against Mali but was responsible for two the two goals the team conceded.

Bafana fans questions Siyanda Xulu’s selection
He was then replaced with Grant Kekana the next game. Broos’ side have not condeded a goal since.
On Wednesday, the squad to face Nigeria was announced and the Bafana coach decided to pair Mothobi Mvala with Xulu and moved Kekana to the right side of defence.

Xulu would be tasked to defend Nigeria top man Victor Osimhen.
On Tuesday, Osimhen got the green light to link up with the squad however the exact nature of his injury remains somewhat uncertain, according to The Standard.
