Voting Commences for 2026 AIMA Heroe Awards
Voting for the 2026 AIMA Heroe Awards has officially begun, with ballots dispatched to the inboxes of AIMA member agencies. The accolades will be presented during the AIMA Connect event, scheduled for November 25.
Celebrating Outstanding Media Partnerships
The Heroes Awards, standing for Honouring Exceptional Relationships & Outstanding Engagement Success, acknowledge media owner representatives who exemplify exceptional support for independent media agencies. These awards highlight individuals celebrated for their distinctive personality and vibrant contribution to the industry.
Distinct from traditional industry awards, the Heroes operate without a judging panel or shortlist. Winners are determined exclusively by the agency teams who collaborate daily with media owner representatives. This unique approach encourages friendly campaigning, making it a rare opportunity within the awards landscape.

AIMA CEO Simon Teagle emphasized the importance of participation, stating, “Recent weeks have shown us a masterclass in canvassing. We encourage media owners to leverage those insights effectively.”
“Agency clients should be reminded of the value delivered this year, whether through supporting a colleague or making a case for oneself. We just ask that it remains a friendly endeavor.”
For member agencies, the survey offers an opportunity to spotlight media partners who have significantly impacted their operations over the last year. “Our members interact with these representatives weekly, giving their votes substantial weight,” Teagle noted. “If someone has truly gone above and beyond, now is the time to acknowledge that effort. Please make sure your voice is heard before voting closes on Friday, November 20.”

Introducing the Future Boss Award
This year also debuts the Future Boss Award, which recognizes two emerging leaders: one from a member agency and one from a media owner.
