Crews respond to gas leak at east London apartment complex

Residents at an east London apartment building have been displaced after a natural gas leak was detected late Tuesday afternoon.

London fire officials responded to a “major natural gas leak” at an apartment complex on Oakville Ave sometime around 5 p.m. Tenants inside 88 Oakville were told to evacuate while firefighters waited for Enbridge workers to arrive.

Few details are available while crews remain on scene of the leak.
