Eric Omondi Begs Tems, Diamond and Other African Stars Not to Visit Kenya: “Give Us Time”

Comedian Eric Omondi has urged foreign artistes to desist from visiting the country for performances.

Omondi pointed out that Kenyan artistes need to put their houses in order to avoid other African artistes from performing in the country.

The funnyman took to his Instagram to express his displeasure at foreign artistes who frequent Kenya for shows.

He wrote in part:

“We appreciate you and we love visitors but please give us some little time to put our house in order. We are not okay. God bless you. Please don’t visit for now. Just give us one year to recover and catch up then you can visit again.”

On Sunday, August 7, TUKO.co.ke reported that musician Juliani has reacted to Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition hiring Tanzanian crooner Diamond Platnumz to perform at their final rally.

Diamond was contracted to perform during the campaign rally and he brought the roof down with his thrilling performance.

The singer, who flew in a private jet from South Africa with his daughter Tiffah arrived at Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition party’s final political rally under tight security.

Juliani subtly complained about the Bongo star performing at a mega political rally instead of a Kenya musician.

“Diamond in Kasarani was distasteful. Any Kenyan would have sufficed,” he wrote.
