EssenceMediacom has named Matt Scotton as Chief Product and Marketing Officer in Australia and New Zealand.
Scotton has joined the EssenceMediacom’s Executive Committee and will lead the agency’s growth agenda and overarching product proposition nationally.
Bringing together the overall product offering under Scotton is a clear decision, aimed to help realise the promise of the EssenceMediacom merger, which sees the business bring together the digital, data and technology capability of Essence, with the strategic network capability of MediaCom.
Scotton brings with him 20 years’ industry experience spanning media, consulting and creative agency roles and a track record of developing product, famous work and growth for brands. He joins from IPG Mediabrands where he was most recently Regional Chief Strategy Officer for Initiative in APAC.
