Felix Kyei eyes first Medeama SC win over FC Samartex at Nsenkyire Park

Medeama SC goalkeeper Felix Kyei has assured supporters that the team will end their winless run at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena this weekend when they face FC Samartex in the Ghana Premier League.

The defending league champions are on the road this weekend to play what will be a difficult Week 7 fixture in the ongoing league campaign.

The Tarkwa-based club head into the game winless in all their away matches against FC Samartex since 2023.

In his pre-match interview, Felix Kyei said it is time to get a first win at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena.

“For us as players, we are very prepared for the game. Playing away at FC Samartex is always difficult, but we are ready. Since I joined Medeama SC, we have played three away matches against them. We have drawn twice and lost one, so this time around we are going for the win,” the goalkeeper said.

The Week 7 league match between FC Samartex and Medeama SC will be played on Sunday, October 18. The encounter is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm.
