Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund (ASPSF) is serving up hope at its first-ever statewide event, The Lunch Break.
Over 300 people will gather at City Center in Little Rock on Tuesday, Oct. 10. They’ll enjoy a tasty lunch; hear a recipient’s story of struggle and triumph; and honor statewide partners working with ASPSF to break the cycle of single parent poverty in Arkansas.
As a zero-waste event, The Lunch Break supports brighter futures for single parent families and the planet. The fundraiser is serving meals on high-end compostable plates, flatware, and glasses. All tableware and remaining food will be transported to a local compost facility, diverting event waste from the landfill.
