Ghana forward Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer will likely return to Hamburger SV’s starting lineup this weekend after serving a two-match suspension.
Konigsdorffer was sent off against Darmstadt in the 2. Bundesliga on August 19.
He has not played for Hamburger SV since, missing victories over FC Nurnberg and Karlsruher SC.
With his suspension served, the 20-year-old is available for selection and is expected to start against Holstein Kiel on Friday.
“He’s always an option, that’s why he’s here and part of our team. He’s really a good player who has developed well over the past few months,” Hamburger SV coach Tim Walter said about the Ghanaian.
Konigsdorffer has scored four goals in six appearances this season, and has been rewarded with debut Black Stars call-up for friendlies agaisnt Brazil and Nicaragua.
