The 2022 Bathurst 1000 is underway, with the famous Mount Panorama circuit set to feature the main event on the Supercars calendar once more. This is The Roar’s guide to catching a Bathurst 1000 live stream, or watching the race on TV.
The weather has been brutal out in Bathurst, with the qualifying stages filled with images of cars sliding through pooled water and multiple crashes as drivers struggle to deal with the conditions.
The rain is set to get even heavier, with 30mm forecast for Sunday’s main day.
How to watch the Bathurst 1000 on TV in Australia
You’ll have two options if you want to watch the Bathurst 1000 on TV.
If you want to watch ad-free coverage, you can do so through Fox Sports’ temporary Bathurst 1000 channel – Fox Sports 503. They’ll have rolling coverage throughout the day which will, of course, include the race proper.
Just make sure you have valid Foxtel TV subscription, complete with the sports package, so you can tune into their broadcast.
Channel 7 have the free-to-air rights this year, and will begin their coverage from 7.30am on Sunday morning, with Mel McLaughlin and Mark Beretta slated to host.
They will have commercial breaks, though picture-in-picture will continue even as the ads roll.
How to live stream the Bathurst 1000 online in Australia
There are a handful of options if you’d like to live stream Bathurst 1000.
To catch Fox Sports 503’s ad-free coverage, you’ll need to tune in via Kayo Sports, a streaming service that costs $25 a month, but comes with a two-week free trial if you’ve never used the service before.
Other options to catch Fox Sports’ coverage include Foxtel Now, which lets you stream all of Foxtel’s content – not just sport – or Foxtel GO, which is included as standard in any Foxtel TV subscription and lets you watch whatever channels you’re subscribed to on your preferred device.
