Devara that stars Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in main roles is one of the big releases of 2024. The movie is about gang wars in the coastal belt of South India. Koratala Siva is the director of the film. He has revealed that the film will be made in two parts. The first glimpse of Devara was met with a lot of excitement. Of late, we are seeing that a number of big South films are being sold to Netflix, recent examples being Leo, Salaar and RRR. Reports suggest that even Devara has been sold to the OTT giant.

Devara sold to Netflix for a whopping price?
As per rumours, Devara has been sold to Netflix for Rs 150 crores. This was shared by a handle on social media. This includes all the South languages and Hindi. This is just little lower than Salaar that got sold for Rs 162 crores. Of course, the biggest price was reportedly paid for RRR for Netflix. It was said that it earned Rs 200 to 250 crores. Of course, the film had the brand name of SS Rajamouli. There are rumours that Game Changer has been sold for Rs 105 crores barring the Hindi language. The film stars Ram Charan and Kiara Advani and is made by S Shankar.

Janhvi Kapoor will make her big debut in the world of Telugu films with Devara. She is playing the role of a fisherwoman. Koratala Siva has told a story that is loaded with action, drama and emotions. The film was supposed to come in April 2024 but now it is eyeing a Dussehra release. It will be the big South festival film. The VFX of the movie is also rumoured to be spectacular.
