Liberian-born player Alphonso Davies Scores Canada’s First-ever World Cup Goal

Liberian-born Canadian player, Alphonso Davies, has made history by scoring Canada’s first-ever goal in the FIFA World Cup.

Davies, the Bayern Munich left-back netted Canada’s goal against Croatia in the ongoing FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

It took the former Refugee two minutes from kick off to score for Canada.

Canada have been absent from the World Cup since 1986.
