Manchester United has reached an agreement with RB Leipzig for striker Benjamin Sesko for a transfer fee worth $152m.
The Slovenian star and his agent posted to social media inside a private jet before he was seen arriving in Manchester, rounding out a busy offseason in recruitment for the Red Devils.
Sesko was linked to a move to Arsenal earlier in the transfer window and it’s understood a contract was in the final stages.

That deal, however, fell through with Newcastle also expressing an interest after they missed out on Hugo Ekitiké—the Frankfurt striker joined Liverpool instead.
Reports state Sesko could be unveiled at Old Trafford before the team’s preseason friendly against Fiorentina on Saturday local time.
The 22-year-old is said to have given up money to make the move happen.
ESPN reports that although Newcastle made a series of bids for Sesko, he made it clear that his preference was to move to Old Trafford.

Sesko had been training away from the rest of the RB Leipzig first-team squad as negotiations over his future progressed.
He scored 21 goals in 45 appearances for the German club in all competitions last year.
He will become United’s third major signing following the arrivals of Matheus Cunha from Wolves and Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford.
It takes their spending in the transfer window past $400 million.
