The release date and time for when NBA 2K23 will come out in New Zealand is nearly here, and fans can play early access by using a common trick on Xbox.

How to play NBA 2K23 early
NBA 2K23 fans can play early access by using the New Zealand release date and time trick.
The trick has always worked for the series before, and it simply requires fans on Xbox to pre-order the game normally, and then follow the below steps:
- Select Settings
- Click System
- Proceed to Language and Location
- Change Location to New Zealand
- Reset Xbox console
There is a NZ trick for PlayStation, too, but it’s ultimately not worth it. You’d have to create a separate NZ Profile, and you’d have to pay more to buy gift cards from PC Game Supply.
New Zealand release date and time
The release date and time for NBA 2K23 in New Zealand is 00:00 NZST on September 9th, meaning fans in the United States and UK will be able to play early access from 05:00 PT, 08:00 ET, and 13:00 BST on September 8th.
It’s a midnight launch for every region on consoles, and this comes courtesy of the PSN store. Lots of people have also shared on Reddit that they are ‘packing their bags’ ready for the flight, and there are visual guides on YouTube.
If you simply wish to wait for its official launch in the United States and UK, it will come out on September 8th at 21:00 PT, and 00:00 ET and 00:00 BST on September 9th. However, the NZ trick is a good way to play several hours earlier if you are on Xbox.
Again, it’s really not worth it if you game on PlayStation. When the game officially launches in the United States and UK, all you will need to do on Xbox is change your region back to normal in settings.
